What is generative line art?
Generative line art is artwork made from rules, algorithms, prompts, or systems that create lines, curves, patterns, and repeated forms.
The simple version
Instead of drawing every line by hand, the artist designs a process. That process might use math, code, AI, randomness, a written prompt, or a mix of all of them.
Why people like it
- It can look technical, organic, mechanical, or handmade.
- It can create many variations from one idea.
- It works well as posters, backgrounds, labels, wallpapers, and printable files.
How ANNplot uses it
ANNplot focuses on clean digital linework first: useful files, clear previews, and practical formats. Physical plotting may return later, but the current site is digital-first.
